Tanner Hoffman Returns from Uganda

💧Tanner’s trip to Uganda was a mission to support AquaTrust’s expansion - liaising with local experts, training alongside Ugandan colleagues, promoting household water connections, and witnessing firsthand how professionally maintained water access is transforming everyday life for Ugandan families.

Esther Nakato - AquaTrust Program Assistant - Kiboga, Uganda

Esther loves crocheting, traveling, dancing, and reggae music. She finds joy in connecting face-to-face with communities, experiencing WASH projects in action, and staying true to her soft girl spirit while balancing work, service, and her Master of Public Health (MPH) studies.

Sonia Irakoze - University of Rochester Student Intern - Kigali, Rwanda

Sonia is a creative and family-oriented leader who loves painting, cooking, uplifting music, and Marvel movies. She is studying mechanical engineering at the University of Rochester.

Fun fact: she has met all of the East African presidents.

“My mum believes, ‘the future of this country lies in your generation’s hands’. So, I study and work hard for my family and for the future of my country.”

Uganda Water Project X New City Cafe Collaboration
